Once again...I don't have a recipe for this but will tell you how to make it. It is my favorite families favorite. I don't know how many you are serving. Here's what I make for 4 and usually have leftovers because it is rich. The leftovers don't last for long tho.
4 chicken breasts cut in half
real butter
1 pint half and half
1 jar favorite (no meat) spaghetti sauce
bread crumbs
pasta ( I use angel hair)
Mozzarella cheese
eggs
Dip chicken in beaten eggs and roll in bread crumbs. Brown chicken in 1 stick of melted butter in a frying pan. Don't keep frying it, just brown the bread crumbs. Drain on paper towels. Mix half and half with spaghetti sauce and pour 3/4 of the mixture in 9x 13 pan. Place chicken in sauce. Top each piece of chicken with part of the cheese, a spoon of sauce, a pat of butter and more cheese. Bake at 400 for about 45 min or so. Serve cooked pasta with some of the extra sauce from the bottom of the pan of cooked chicken. I usually make a salad and garlic bread with this. It's soooo dang good!
There is enough sauce for this for 6 chicken breast if you need more.
