my boyfriends sister got married on a $2500.00 budget. the wedding weas really nice but u have to be REALLY thrifty. her mom made her dress, she did her own hair n makeup. her dad made all the food (he's a chef) and they had about 150 people there it was a beautiful ceremony and the reception was in their backyard, but their backyard is huge and they decorated it so beautifully. good luck!

You would be able to have about 15 people there for a wedding at that cost and even then you will have to skimp on things
Wedding incorporate alot of unexpected costs and you have to take that into account.
I am a registered wedding planner who owns my own buisness so i hope this answer helps
thanks adele

Plan ahead, do as much as you can on your own and enlist family and friends to help. You can have a great wedding and not go bankrupt, you just have to stick to a budget and cut costs where you can. Good Luck.

I would suggest having it at a park, and having your friends and family bring covered dishes and take pictures. That is a tight budget for a wedding, but possible to do. Good luck.

Think simple. Think free. You could get married in a park - something casual like a barbeque even, or at someone's house or backyard with cocktails and just appetizers, as food gets expensive.

Have a non-meal reception at a non-meal tme of day. It's prefectly acceptable if you do the etiquette right. Just cake and punch, or just cocoa and cookies, or just iced tea and tea sandwiches...

You can do this if you plan, do the leg-work yourself, recruit family & friends to help & learn where to cut costs. Decide what you & your fiance absolutely HAVE to have, & the guest list; then go from there.
