i know, babies dont have teeth so they cant eat solid foods, and their diet has to be taken intravenously...

so can i just put some carrots in a normal blender to get it thin enough for the syringe?

Use most any veggie in the blender or several and blend until thin enough for the syringe. The fresh veggies are so much better for the baby, than store bought.

you can get it thin enough for the baby with a blender, and if it's not, you can add some water to thin it out, but there's nothing wrong with giving the baby thicker liquified food so he can learn to chew. Some babies don't ever learn to chew, and/or are too lazy to chew. My niece is one of those. She always had her baby eat her food with one of those suction bottles, and now, she's 2 and refuses to chew on anything. She spits it out. I hate that.

I think you have to boil them to soften them up, but yes. My mom did that for me with carrots, apples, green beans, pares and peaches.
