Why i don't like the same food as my parents even though we have same genes?

I don't like eggs, thus also no mayonaise. but my parents love it. Why is this, even though we are realated? my sisters all like mayonaise too, and eggs.. but i can't eat them

Just because you share the same Genes, doesn't mean you share the same tastes. My mom makes Stuffed Cabbage...I hate the cabbage but love the meat inside.
Taste is an indivdual thing and is simply a matter of what YOUR brain says it likes or doesn't like.
As small children we are sometimes FORCED to eat something that we don't like because it is supposed to be good for us, but as we get older we can make the choice of what we eat simply because NOW we can vocalize our like or dislike.
My kids don't like certain things and I try to respect that, heck I don't like certain things...just always be willing to try things(unless you are allergic to an ingredient in it) before completely disregarding it from your list.

What type of foods you like doesn't have to do with what genes you have. It's a matter of your own individual opinion about what you think tastes good or bad. My dad likes eggs and I hate them. I think mayonaise is okay, but I usually don't eat it too much because I don't like it THAT much and it's incredibly fattening. On the other hand, my mom likes it.

Just because your related doesn't mean you have to like the same food. My mom loves seafood and I hate the stuff. My dad only likes the steak and potatoe type meals and Im open to whatever. Be happy that your different. That's supposed to happen.
