Well, god is, of course, not a he or a she. God is something that is difficult for the human mind to comprehend. One has only to look around to see the world alive and growing to know that there is some kind of cosmic energy powering this existence. Let's call that God.

I think God is more closely akin to the ship's computers on the Star Ship enterprise. There to help, protect and create, but no more judegmental than that. God is the facilitator (and sometimes the protector) we need for our trips to Earth - trips that we plan ourselves so that we can learn a specific lesson.

I often think of this existence as being on the Holodeck and god is the technology that makes it happen and the safety protocols that come with it (though even they can be turned off).

Peace!

Hello,
The bible holds 37,000 verses.
Some people deny all 37,000 verses as hogwash.
If i was to write a 37,000 verse book on the president no one would ignore it.
The fact is there is 66 books in the bible with many writers of those books.
There is no reason to lie in a book that will affect the future.
The only problem we see when reading the bible is that the people who wrote it, write what they don't understand.
For instance if i saw a cell phone 2,000 ago i would call it the small box with the voice of god coming out of it.
I believe the we are all reading the bile wrong instead of implamatting science we put in supernaturel, non existence things that don't happen in this day and age.
BUT really they are happening, but now since we have progressed in mind we can know what those things are.
Now if i see a cell phone i would write it is a cell phone, and be logical about my writtings instead of writing about wheels in the sky, i would understand what they really were, just as if i saw a gold box (Ark of the coventedent) that killed people gave them emrods*Which are green hemroids*
We only get these hemroids by radition, this must mean the ark of the covendent had strong radtion given off by it.
This is nothing compared to the stufff you can really understand when reading the bible correctly.
It is history and science not mythcial and supernautal.
Such as an angel being a spirit.
You can read in Judges that angels eat food....spritual beings don't eat food.
So if were say angels are NOT spirtual then they are human like beings that exist in heaven in body form.
The god today is made up, the real is waiting to be found.

I believe there is a god. I was raised as a catholic and raise my children the same. I believe that everyone has the right to believe as they wish. One thing that I think people need to start to believe in is a gift of life. Maybe then we would have less killings and abuse of that gift. We do not all need to agree about god and the customs around our religious choice but we should agree that everyone should have the right to believe as they want with out it hurting or pushing there views on to other people.

Who cares if you believe in worshiping a tree, a cow or the moon. As long as you are on earth you need to believe that life is a gift, your mother could have chosen not to have you. Take that gift and give something back.

I believe he put me on this earth for a reason, and he is very real. I believe when I was born God had a list of task I have to complete and when theses are done he will call me home again. Also I think the day your are born, God has already decided when and how you will die.

God is real. Jesus is God in the flesh. The trinity doesn't exist. Idols like Buddha,Allah, The God Of War, ETC. are all made up. Jehovah Witnesses,Mormons and other cults are weird.

i dont think there is a 'god' so to speak. i think there is some almighty power, but not the miracle-worker, prayer answering, whatever god that religion's society has created. i feel that you are your own god. you set the standards to the type of life you want to live. no one sets them for you. you are your own creator. you create your own person in every way. god didnt make you have blue eyes, the science and chemistry in your parents made you have them. god didnt make you like horses. you chose to pick horses for whatever reason. maybe there will be a judgement day, and a heaven or hell, but as far as here on earth, i feel that you should set your own commandments and your own morals and your own "bible" and live by it.

dont base your belief system on a gimmick set by romans or egyptians or whoever. is a way to make money for them. catholicism for example, has been altered so many times, to suit the needs of the vatican. call that religion or politics?

people create theyre own religion. mormons are what, 200 years old? started by a little kid....but yet they know the infinate truth. interesting. they create these religions to suit their specific needs, and then recruit other ppl.

i dont believe that there is no heaven or hell. i dont believe in anything. when i was younger i had many family problems growing up and still do. but i went to church every sunday an d i was the only one in my family to. But i would pray everynight before bed and sometimes during the day. i would pray to make things better and to help me find my father, and i did that for years and id pray to my grandmother as well. but then when things got worse i just gave up. and at age 13 i became depressed as well. So i stoped believing. I wont believe it until i see it. thats just how i am.

well this is something i believe no one really knows, they just believe what they are being told about him. I am not sure myself.
I often think... if he does or did exist then why is so much bad in the world and why did he create bad ignorant and mean people as in Hitler, Bin Laden and others
