I agree. It's completely wrong and insulting to compare God to the Care Bears.
After all, the Care Bears preach love, tolerance and happiness. The closest they come to 'smiting' is sending rays from their bellies to make people happy.
The Care Bears are much worthier of respect than Jehovah.
