Wellll, it has recently been shown through studies that diuretics are the best way to lower blood pressure in most cases. This means it is good that your doctor chose the med that is best tolerated and with the fewest side effects to help you. Now you need to help yourself by avoiding sodium, drinking more water(JUST water-not tea or coffee or diet soda)and (ahem!) relaxing a bit...try some guided imagery.

When my son was born my BP was 220/180(see I win the BP race) I was on meds for a long time(my son is 30) but thru weight loss, exercise, and meditation my BP was 122/72 yesterday. My point being you did not get high BP in a day; so it will take a few for it to go down and your helping yourself will make things go faster...but it WILL go down...good luck..

3 years in the past, i grow to be clinically determined - high blood pressure with a studying of 100 and sixty/one hundred. I used to sense dizzy plenty, my legs had undesirable cramps, and ranges were very low in my potassium, causing my fingers and feet to continually cramp at the same time. in some unspecified time sooner or later i began to sense truly faint even as i grow to be driving with my daughter in the back seat and that i handed out, hitting 3 vehicles and ending up in a ditch. That second,I knew I had to do something because my meds weren't operating. I heard about this weightloss plan from a pal and idea i'd provide it a shot. the outcomes were brilliant. in only 21 days, I truthfully won't be able to save in options feeling this good, my blood stress went from one hundred seventy 5/100 and ten to 100 twenty 5/70.
