God unbelievers, why do you force yourselves to not believe in God? Why can't you just say "I don't know"?
Because you really don't know. You're ASSUMING God didn't make the world because you don't know what else to think.

I understand the Atheist's point of view.
I used to be an Agnostic. That is someone who does not claim to know if there is a God or not.
You are probably thinking, "'used to be'...not another conversion story".
Not quite. As most everybody in the world, I had childhood issues, neglect mostly. It took 12 years of psychotherapy to get beyond the effects of those issues.
As I came out of the years of toxic thinking, a sense of the spiritual emerged quite on its own.
Now that doesn't mean I rushed to my nearest Church. Spirituality, which includes the acceptance that there is a Higher Power, is NOT the same as religisosity. It differs in that it doesn't believe in any set of assertions about religious figures -- Christ, Mohammed, Buddha, etc.
As I have said many times, the basis for my spiriuality and my approach to life is the Near Death Experience phenomenon.
I have not had one. But I have read the accounts of the NDEs of others, and I find them believable and compelling.
And what they tell me of the "order of things" makes a lot of sense.
If they are to be believed, the physical Universe is sealed off from the Other Side -- the real home for our spirits.
So very well sealed, that it is no wonder that people think that this place is all there is.

What makes you think we are forcing ourselves to believe? You are the one assuming. I really do know. I have had experiences in my life that are all the proof I need. God is REAL. There will come a time when everyone will know. Then we'll see who is knowing and who is wishing they had listened, learned and knew what we 'God believers' already know.

you're spectacular, the call is diverse bases on languages. notwithstanding all of them examine with a similar Divine being. notwithstanding, there's a difference between the three monotheist religions Islam Christianity and Judaism, and Buddhism. Buddha became right into a guy of flesh and blood venered and enjoyed and given divine status. God in those 3 different religions became into no longer a "residing being", yet somewhat a "concept". i can't communicate of Hinduism, forgive me I on no account examine something approximately it. yet I do believe you in the sense, a similar extreme Authority is pronounced as with a various call yet represent a similar top being. Atheist, Agnostics won't see any of this as conceivable or genuine or genuine, and that i comprehend that. faith is for who believes it, it is all. an common correction to between the solutions: the three monotheist religions have confidence in God as in the only and only, Jesus additionally being his prophet yet no longer the messiah, as adversarial to Christians. Islam is nearer to Judaism than Christianity.

I dont force myself to do anything. I dont believe in God, I know God is alive. He stopped me at the last second from killing myself. I should be dead. He stopped me, and told me he had a plan for my life. I listened to him. I talk to Jesus everyday. More like a conversation. Thats why I know he's real. I dont need a religion to tell me he's alive, or any science book, or even the Bible. I've lived it. I do read the Bible by the way.. You dont need a Bible to be saved, though, only faith.

Because I do know. It would be much harder for me to assume there was no God. I have come to know Him and love Him so much since I first believed that no one could convince me to give Him up. It was a giant leap of faith that paid off. The closer I am to Him the more He reveals to me. It just keeps getting better. I have a joy and peace that very few find. Why would I give it up?
Peace and Blessings to you and your family,
Cathy

What a hypocrite you are. You ask why do we force ourselves ourselves to believe in God but don't hesitate to try force your athiestic religion on us.
You say that we are ASSUMING God all the while you are brazen enough to assume why we believe what we believe.
Your arrogant pseudo intellectualism is pathetic.

I choose to believe in God because God is real. God created this Earth. He created man in His own image. This is not an ASSUMPTION. The Bible tells us so. I hope that you find God soon my brother.

I don't force myself to believe in nothing, I believe in him because I want to. And I surely believe God exist.
But if you don't believe, is no problem is your right also.
I respect in what you believe, and you respect in what I believe. That is call tolerance.
No one has force me...I believe in God based in my personal experience with him.
And by the way if you prefer to think you come from a monkey...its okey with me...I prefer to believe I came from God!
Have a nice day!

We do not force ourselves to believe in God; we look at the evidence and reach the logical conclusion.
