I got my dog in Jan 2004. She doesn't have a breed, she's what we call in the Philippines an askal (street dog). Well, she gave birth in April 2006 to 5 pups. Yesterday, I went to school and when I came back, they told me "Vivian" just died. I can't cry in front of everyone but when I'm alone I get really emotional. Sh's such a sweet dog. My gandma was crying as she was telling how it happened.
They said she was poisoned intentionaly. She kept on vomiting the food she ate. Then suddenly she shook wildly. Her pups was gathered around her and was barking madly. They said they're like asking for help and barking at people pleading to help their mom. Then the shaking stopped. one pup let out a loud bark. Surprisingly, all the dogs in the neighborhood barked madly and loudly.
What really breaks my heart is that when they thought she's already dead, my gradma touched her head and she let out a faint sound, like saying goodbye.
I just want to vent this out, thanks for reading......

If you discover who poisoned her I would not hold it against you if you were to feed the same poison to the person who killed her.

My kitten died similarly nearly 2 years ago, and I'm not over it. I helped myself heal by volunteering at shelters, helping to adopt out pets, helping other animals to be healthy and happy, and eventually by fostering a litter of four kittens that turn 1 year old TODAY. It does get better because if you have love to give, there are plenty of places in the world that could use it. As far as someone being intentionally mean, they will be reincarnated as a slug and some equally mean person will pour salt on them. Trust in your higher power to take care of the BS like that, and you just go ahead and keep loving.
My Kitten (she was only 5 when she died) said goodbye, too. I didn't function for awhile after that. Don't push yourself, and don't listen when people say "It was JUST an animal" They don't get to tell you what you feel.

Just think about the fun u had with the dog and think that your dog is in a better place. And dont hold back the tears it just makes it worse just let your tears out. But think about it this way. You had a really fun time with Vivian and she is probably running through the feilds up in the sky happily. I bet she misses u too.And what i would do is look up to the sky whenever u want and to say l love u or maybe hold a conversation with your dog and she is going to listen when u start talking to her. But really just know even though she left this earth just think she is always in your heart no matter what happens she will always have u in your heart just cry even in public. who cares u are sad.

How horrible. The person who would do such a terrible malicious act has no soul! You must feel such pain knowing that someone you love is no longer with you. I lost my best friend a little over a year ago, and I was devastated, but little by little time heals. Do I get emotional every time I think about him? Yes, but I know that he is watching over me and is happy, and wants me to be happy too. I have 2 other dogs, and they have made my life so much better. I suggest to open your heart to her puppies. Shower your love and affection on her last gifts to you. She would want it that way.

When I was a kid, we had someone that tossed poison meat over our fence and killed our 3 dogs, so I can so sympathize with your feelings. At least you have the puppies, and they can be a reminder to you of what a wonderful dog she was. I am sure at least one, if not more, will share their mom's personalilty traits. You need to find out who did this horrible thing, and see what you can do to press legal charges. It is illegal to kill someones pet, and they should pay for what they have done.

thats really sad, i feel for you. i had a dog years ago which was stolen from me, still to this day i don't know if he lives or not. i think about him very often and wish he was still with me, but last year my hubby and i got 2 pups and they have really helped, and i love them to bits. you will never forget your dog, but it will get better each day, just give it time. think of her this way: she had a great life lovingly cared for by you and your family, and she died among them, not on her own.

At least she didn't go through too much pain, however keep your head up and live life to the fullest. It's just one emotion that will not pass quickly. At least she's still in your heart...
"Live life to the fullest."
