You are spending too much time being a "human doing" rather than a "human being". Take some off your plate and give yourself a break. You have a whole life to get the worldly ways. But if you get spiritual they won't matter so much and you calm down. Enjoy what God has given us.

The loss of joy can have a number of causes in your walk with Christ. However, the remedy is simpler. Many Christians work under the mistaken notion that the gospel for the unbeliever. Once the unbeliever ceases to be so, once he or she becomes a Christian, than the gospel is thought of in the past tense (“I believed the gospel”). But in the Bible, the gospel is not only the message that saves, it also strengthens and delights the soul. In Acts 20:32 we read “and now I commend you to God and to the word of His grace, which is able to build you up”. I would recommend meditating on the glory of Christ, on how you are not saved by works but through the finished work of Christ alone, received by faith alone. The more we take our eyes off of ourselves and place them on Christ (Heb 12:2), the more we will delight in the Son of God, and the joy of salvation will then become again, a familiar friend. Try reading the book of Romans today (especially chapters 3-5, 8), and spend at least 10 minutes each day praising God for the gospel.

It’s hard when the joy seems to go out of life. Ones energy goes down and it becomes harder to just do the thing you have to do. Then that leaves little time to do those things that recharge your batteries. So you end up feeling tired. A vicious cycle ensues.
Figure out what is REALLY important. There are many things that can fill our time that aren’t all that important. What would happen if you didn’t dust this week or waited till next week to change the oil on the car? Can you clear a few things off your plate to make more time for you?
How is taking care of you going? Diet, sleep, and exercise are all things that will increase your energy when they are in balance. Make time for this stuff and you’ll feel better.
What are you doing for fun? What did you do when you felt joy? Can you bring those things back into your life?
What about friends? Do you make time to see them? Are you isolating? There are few things that will drain the joy out of your life mare then being lonely.
How about your spiritual practices? Do you make time for the ones that recharge you or are you focusing on the ones that do little for you? I can make some suggestion if you’d care to share a little more about yourself. (also known as feel free to contact me.)
This should give you a couple of things to think about.
Peace to you.

David prayed in the 51st. Psalm "Restore unto me the Joy of Thy Salvation. What you are missing is the fellowship with the Lord. You can get it back.
The way back may seem difficult but the reward is worth the effort.
We do let the cares of this world intrude on our fellowship with God and the saints.
When we allow this to happen we lose the Joy in the knowledge that we are children of the living God.
David said when he sw the army of Israel afraid of Goliath, " who is this uncircumsized Phillistine, that he should withstand the army of the living God?"
Paul said that there is no trial that we face that is not common to man and tha God will with the trial make a way of escape.
With God all things are possible.
Now I know that these things may not bring you comfort, but they are written that you may know you are not alone. There are resources that you can call on to help you through and get you back on track.
The first one is God.

Excellent question. I have been asking myself that same one lately! I am trying to look at the blessings in every day and focus on them rather that what I am lacking. If we look for the positive and joyful, we will find it. It we look for the negative, and joy-stealing, we will find it as well. I also try to do something I want to do for myself for a short time each day-listen to a favorite CD, take a walk in a beautiful area, or just catch up with a friend I haven't talked to in awhile.

Thanks For Your Great Question :)
Well there are allot of things to do first thing You must thank God for all the graces he gave you and you must know that you are in a test a test from God to see will you still thank him when you are having some bad time or you thank him in the good and wealthy times only :)
God says in The Quraan : And certainly, We shall test you with something of fear, hunger, loss of wealth, lives and fruits, but give glad tidings to the patient ones Who, when afflicted with calamity, say: "Truly! To God we belong and truly, to Him we shall return." They are those on whom are the blessings, who are blessed and will be forgiven from their Lord, and they are those who receive His Mercy, and it is they who are the guided-ones.
I hope this helped you to know more about faith :) just be strong and thank and pray to God to guide you and if you want anything more to talk about please feel free to msg me on abouterachess@yahoo.com

If you put God first and formost everything will fall into place, but only if you put him first in all things.
