Tell them that you can't share because you'll be hungry. Tell them that it's not fair that you always share your food and never get anything in return. There is no reason to be used like that and the only way to fix it is to tell them no. It's great to share, but you can't be taken advantage of. I'm sure they are perfectly capable of bringing their own lunch.

I'm sure you feel frustrated and perhaps taken advantage of by these people, but have you considered the possibility that they may not have the financial means to buy or bring a decent lunch to work everyday? The spirit of giving and sharing is a real Christian way.
I think you should feel greatful that you have enough to share with those who may be less fortunate. Why don't you bring a little extra to put away for yourself for when you are hungry. Or, you might bring a casserole or big pasta salad with bread for everyone to enjoy. Maybe even suggest a pot luck lunch a couple of days a week, where everyone brings something to enjoy.
Remember, there may come a day when you may need someone to share what they have with you!

How come they are having their lunch hour before yours?? I can understand you sharing your food with one or two people but not all. The only way to get the message across is to not bring in food on some of the days and just buy from the canteen. They will start bringing in their own food sooner or later.

If you can't tell them directly, get khichdi or some boring food everyone doesn't like to eat for some days, less spicy food may also help... or may be ask whoever cooks the food to miss salt in the vegetables or dal and take some salt with you seperately.. if the food seems tasteless, they will automatically leave it for you.. But u'll have to carry your salt or spices seperately, or eat such food yourself.. OR the best is get selfish like your frnds.. Gud Luck

The next time they're helping themselves to your food, just let them know that the next time it's *their* turn to bring the stuff for everybody to munch on. If they're truly your friends, they'll most likely take the subtle hint that their mooching off you isn't going to continue - and if they get upset about your not providing food, then write 'em off....as it would seem that they're just using you at that point.
You're not their parent(s), and you certainly shouldn't be expected to feed these little moochers.

Spike your lunch with some Hot peppers(like habenero),and they will quit mooching, I had the same problem at work until I did this to the lunch thief.

Ask them to help chip in money for food if they want you to bring them lunch everyday. Just tell them you cannot afford to feed them all.
