what's the question? Is this a complaint? How does she force you? Maybe she wants you to learn something and you are resisting. Have you asked her why she wants you to paint whatever it is you say you are being forced to paint? As a student, you need to accept that this person wants to impart something important, so ask her sincerely what that is. You may find out something wonderful. And if by chance you or your teacher are involved in powerplay. you have bigger issues than not liking a subject in art class.

Being able to draw boosts your creativity and spatial intelligence. The more creative you are the more you are going to use both sides of your brain in conjunction instead of just using one side or the other. P.S. Being creative is a very good quality to have, so shut up and draw. :)

Either don't take art or look for a better teacher who teaches the specific medium you're interested in.
