It is the superset of conventional (boolean) logic that has been extended to handle the concept of partial truth --- truth values in between " completely true" and "completely false".

Well gosh, I don't know. But wait, maybe I do. And then again the answer is eluding me. However maybe if I get more input. No, that won't work. Yes, input will increase my chance of getting an answer. No, I don't have enough, Gosh, maybe I will be able to answer. No, it is a variable that is not there. But then again the answer could be. logic deals in absolutes - yes or no answers

fuzzy logic is more like real life, there are questions that may not be totally yes or no, but something in between.

I'm not sure myself. But I think it's logic that doesn't really make sense or is unclear. Kind of an oxymoron, but that's what I think it is.
