If the only reason you keep following the Christian God is out of fear, shame, or disappointment, that wouldn't please God anyway.

It's okay to research other religions. Do a lot of homework. Don't make any hasty changes, especially if they are based on a person's good presentation. Decide for youself and do it slowly.

Some people have succeeded in blending the two - maintaining Christianity while following some of the precepts of Wicca or other nature-based religions.

Don't follow Christ because you're afraid of going to hell. Don't change to Wicca because Christianity is too conservative. Get all the facts and come up with something that fits YOU.

Thanks For Your Question :)

Well I don't know Wicca well but I think it is not as strong as Christianity, I mean since you still feel that you are disappointing God by leaving Christianity

The only Advice I could give is " Please Read More ! " not only in the Wicca religion or in Christianity no, Read about all religion and the one you find spiritual peace in it and answers to all your questions then this will be the true religion

For example Islam (which is my religion) did you know that it is the world fastest growing religion, that it glorifies Jesus and Mary peace be upon them more than any other religion, did you know that The Quraan has never been changed nor lost its original language unlike the bible did you know that it got some scientific fact that were recently discovered by western scientists ??

See these information comes from reading allot and asking allot about everything these information wont be found except when you try to search for it

Last thing to say here is my contact if you wanted to chat or ask about anything abouterachess@yahoo.com

peace be with you

Only the Christian Church would lay this guilt trip on you. Wicca, the way of the wise, lets you decided who to honor. Read Cunningham, and Zimmerman on that.

The passage mentioned by one of the people who answered, is bogus. Even the Jews are not sure where that came from. It is also mistranslated ... but never, ever, ever, confuse a Christian with the facts.

Follow what in in you, do not worry about the world, or the worlds understanding -- or lack of -- of the spiritual reality that exist.

Larry S -- when you defecate, make sure you take a spade, go to the outskirts of the city, dig the hole, pass you waste, and bury it ... that too is in the bible. Also, remember, when you wife in having her period, don't have intercourse with her -- for a week after she is over it, and of course sleep in different beds, also toss out anything she has sat on, that too is in the bible. Just thought you might need a few reminders.

God sent Jesus to earth for a reason, many old traditions that go back thousands of years value and do human sacrifice, animal sacrifice and Rome with corrupt, vile leaders. The Pharaohs in ancient Egypt killed brothers and sisters for access to power, killed mothers or fathers aunts and uncles. All these things I believe God wanted us to get what he wanted. He sent Jesus to show us what was a human that had divinity within him. A parent who wanted to protect our spirits while we live among temptation. I believe if Wicca has some elements about nature , it is probably okay but worship ping something other than God and Jesus, would delete you from being a Christian. Find things in Wicca that are not something you worship and then you can still be a Christian. Remember in Christianity Jesus is the alpha and omega

well my child...unless you are harming others animals or the earth you should not feel ashamed...God and Goddess know what is in your heart and soul...I am a pagan of an extremely old faith and have wondered the same long ago...follow the path of your instincts and intellect and you'll be just fine...wicca and christianity are not to disimilar...we just don't worship dead guys(no offense dear). Anyway spend the energy of your worry on something possitive. And have a nice day! :) I just read some of the extremely misinformed luny's answers...WICCA IS NOT SATANIC PEOPLE READ SOMETHING DO SOME RESEARCH FIND OUT FOR YOURSELF. ONLY CHRISTIANS BELIEVE IN SATAN...IDOLOTERS!

Lindal is right. All that God wants from us is for us to believe in him, the sacrifice of his son and to be good people, good to one another. I am a sort of Scientologist, (Hystitologist actually) raised Baptist. I also had a hard time getting out of the old mold. What did it was the turn the other cheek babble and giving away all your cloths. I finally decided that a loving father would not ask this of his child. After some research I learned that I was right he didn't. He wanted us to use our heads and follow our hearts INTELLIGENTLY.
My favorite prayer: May God grant you just enough misery that you know when you are happy.
By the way, I am afraid of ouji boards but I am also a bit phsycic. According to some that answered your question that would make me a child of Satan. I believe that he exists. I am sure of it, but I am not a follower. I do not however believe there is any intelligence in spell casting, ect......

You won't be disappointing God by following your heart. God has no requirements for us all to be Christian or follow the same faith. That is a man-made rule. Not God's. Try it out and see if it works for you. If so, good for you! If not, atleast you can say you made an honest effort to see another point of view and expand your consciousness.

Sending love, light and blessings!

Of course, it fascinates you that's what it is supposed to do. Don't have weak faith. God detests things such as sorcery, fortune telling, spell casters, and things of that nature. Deuteronomy 18:9. Please, you are dappling in things not of God, which is dark. God is The Light! However, if you have already decided this is something you want to get involved, the devils already got you, not to sound crazy, but if you are a Christian, you know it is true.
Please do some Bible reading, consult believers with strong faith. Unfortunately, if you are attracted to this sort of thing chances are you are already part-taking, all I can say is you will be in my prayers, and be strong, do not be swayed away from the Lord. P.S. Last night we spoke about this same thing at church, please read, do research, and consider my advise. Wiccian would be much easier, but a life lived for the Lord is difficult, if your faith is not strong you will fall, just be sure to pick yourself back up. God Bless you and be in your thoughts and in your heart.

I tell my children that ... if it is right then you can proclaim it to the world standing naked... This is the naked truth. Feeling ashamed should NOT be part of any religion. Imagine yourself standing "naked" before God. Tell him "Wicca makes sense to me"... Do you still feel ashamed?
yes... pray to God for guidance.
no... then begin a Wiccan path.
Start by reading Scott Cunningham ~Great Author~

Am I wrong' isn't wicca witches? That all may seem fasinating but it is of the devil and yes i imagine god would be very upset if you start following them. There is only one God and it's not satan. Jesus came for all of us and gave up His life on the cross for us, satan didn't do that.
