why do guys are 1st attracted to the outer appearance?

Because they are human. The first thing you notice about someone is appearance and anyone who says differently is blind.

However, Men's tastes vary among individuals.
Some want the perfect woman or no one at all.
Some are attracted to a pretty face even if she is a little heavy.

However, you can really stand out from a crowd if you smile at a man that you like. A man readily notices a smile. There's no guarantee of a date, but a smile makes anybody look better.

Looks are important at first, but in the long run it's your heart and personality that makes most relationships last.

Because you can't see inside at first. The outer appearance is what catches people's attention and it's the only thing you see when you look at people. Once you get to know the person, then they start looking into the inner appearance.

Well, in all fairness, when a man see's a woman for the first time, he is viewing her "outer appearance". A man's opinion may differ if he has talked to a woman a lot before meeting her. First impressions are very important ya know.

I think it goes back to early cave men looking at potential mates in terms of " will they make great children for my family?". Since there weren't a lot of deep conversations in those days instinct said to go by outer appearance for a start. Nowadays TV, movies, and ads take advantage of that instinct to try to make a buck by showing physically-attractive women as an eye-catcher.

Because they're human. Women are the same way. We are attracted by outer appearance first. When is the last time you watched a 5'9", 120lb boy with thick glasses go by and said "Whoa! Gotta get me some of that!"

First is the natural desire of the soul for fullfillment. Caught up in the prison of the material world this desire is reflected in the mind. The mind bewildered by illusion and false ego thinks i am men or i am woman. In this way the soul identifies falsely with this world and accepts a huge variety of false designations. Thus the mind agitated by the souls desireimpulse and the modes of material nature searches for a harmonious state or equilibrium. The dead senses are a more gross expression of the false ego and the outer world the food to maintain this false concept.
The senses react in this way on senseobjects. Eyes-Form, Smell-Fragrance, Tunge-Taste and so on.

Originally all souls are female and God is the only male, in the loving relationship with god all souls find their fullfillment or the balance of plus and minus. In the material world we are put into a male body or a female body but our loving relation with God is not established so we are devided and feel a lack when we identifie with this male or femalebody, if male we want female and visa versa. Everybody wants to experience wholeness so we desire what we lack.

So a mans mind influenced to a certain degree by the mode of ignorance for example will be attracted by forms and qualities in the opposite sex that creates a harmony of oneness in his mind.
Its all working like a supercomplex computer or machine.
That is the reason why birds of a feather flock together. That can be sometimes outwardly only and sometimes one shares only same feelings but not the outer dress. Like attracts like.
First interest is external but the interest in external features has its beginning in the mindset, that i tried to explain.
Man and Woman are same in this regard, first they are attracted to external features that promise comfort to the mind. If you come to know the person it might not fit to your minds bigger picture an then you leave it by that.

Its not just guys but girls too that does this. a person's appearance tends to be the 1st thing that you notice before they even speak you look at what they look like but don't fall in love with looks get to know a person for who they are on the inside and not what they look like on the outside because the real test is when they speak.

Because your personality is not written on the outside. You have to begin judging with something. Guys don't only do this you women do this as well. So it has to begin somewhere. If women walked around with there personalities on the outside and there looks on the inside it would be completely different. It's how people become picky. Like women wearing make-up as a mask to hide who they are.
