He wears a lot of bling but recently I noticed him wearing a platinum cross. I guess he got tired of gold!

He wears diamond rings too!

Yeh - I noticed that. He has his own army, a rolex, lives in an Art Gallery.

I thought he'd be taller though.

I believe that the Pope having such grand material items is a direct insult to Christianity. Isn't Christianity about serving god through serving others? By giving all that you can to those who need it? Why should the pope have designer shoes and diamond rings when people are dying of starvation and curable diseases? Not very Christ-like at all is it? All Christians should have to live in poverty, and devote their lives to helping others.

I thought it was the poorest among you will be the highest in heaven? Once again the corruption in the church rears it's ugly head.... and I thought all that money was going to help charities and not buy the Pope diamonds and platinum.
