-AMEN, Brother! I give you a "hi-5" on that! I'm sick of all the "victims" and they seem to outnumber the over-comers. It gets old real quick! I think society plays a big part in all of this "it's not my fault" thing. You PLAY the hand you are dealt...and you play to win. If you choose to be a "victim" that's what you will be. That's the way life is for everyone. Those whiners need a good dose of reality - like, living in Africa for a month or two; or going to a cancer ward. We should appreciate our lives as God sees fit to leave us here on this earth to set good examples to other people. Adversity breed character! Glad you asked this question and happy to know I'm not the only one who feels this way! Thanks!

Of course it's more admirable when people overcome. Some people however, due to their socialization or the fact that the health industry ENCOURAGES victim-hood, do not know how to overcome their problems. Instead of getting annoyed with these people, try to point out what a great learning experience they have been given, the opportunity to grow due to their problem. Then if you see anything they could be doing, kindly suggest it to them ONCE. Then do not allow any more whining in your presence by changing the subject every time they attempt to whine and beat their 'dead horse' of an issue.

So you would rather Michael Jackson not try to defend himself and explain why he is the way he is and why he likes to make children happy?? His father treated him like a meal ticket and you think that he should just forget about that?? He should get sympathy, he had a horrible childhood! He did overcome that hardship and made himself into the musical genius that he is today! I would like to see you live through what he had to live through and see if you want to just forget about it!
♥♥We Love You Michael!!!!♥♥

Americans are whiny people. Even when they don't have it as hard as the pioneers did they still whine. I prefer stories where people do inprove themselves. I also guess the sympathy players just have a need to feel special and that whining is the only way they can think of to get it. Or maybe they really need help and it's the only way they can think of to get it. Ether way I don't think that man is a good example. I think he is a little gulty no matter what his lawyers said.

I think when people do that they want attention and just to feel like someone cares. Even if its a complete stranger. Granted after a lil while it gets old. Its like i know you had it rough but wouldn't it be a great story to tell how you suceeded DESPITE your hardships???

playing for oity and hope it gets them a lesser sentence should give them extra time for every lie they tell about ten years extra should keep them locked away long enough even with time off for good behavior should mean at least 40 or 50 years not many would be capable of causing harm after that if they survive that lon .

story telling must be beneficial to children and people.. i do not understand that some of the people telling story to spoil the other people and very imaginary not at all useful to any one.. if the two frog not commented any thing... one of the frog might have escaped like deaf/another frog escaped.. i find some people continuously dist rub others by spreading comments, backed with selfish motives and gaining something for their survival... the innocent people who believed the words... suffering more than generations... unable to understand why it happened to them...

It really annoys me when people do that. There so rapped up in there own problems they don't realise other people have trouble to. I have one acquaintance that never realises when other people are upset/down because shes too busy talking about all the bad things in her life.
