It's Tough. I am waiting til marriage no my life's not miserable. I'm in love :) but it does take discipline..... Am looking forward to the honeymoon.
It'd be miserable if I didn't have a good reason for it but I do: I believe in & love God.

Actually being celibate doesn't mean you are miserable. Just because someone vowed not to have sex for a while doesn't mean its the end of their life. Becoming celibate is a way some people keep themselves from doing some form of worldly sin. Sex is not something everyone must have to be able to "survive" in the world. Sex is not important its just something alot of people do because its what they call "fun" or that's how they relive their stress. By the way I'm not celibate.

sex is not everything. Actually going with-out for a long peroid can have benefits- such as more power and a certain aggression to put into other persuits. Footballers only have it after the match- why? For the above reason!

they are not consumed by the thoughts of it so I would say their lives are probablly easier. I survived 16 years fine (lost virginity) without it as well as most. What a stupid question.

if you don't know what you're missing
you don't miss it
think of it in the terms of drug addiction
if you've never used e.g. heroin you don't get the thrill it gives
and you won't care less about using it
it works pretty much the same!!
