8 ounces elbow macaroni
3 quarts boiling water
3 tsp salt
2 Tbl butter
2 Tbl flour
1 cup evaporated milk
1 cup water
1 egg, beaten
1 tsp salt
1/2 pound sharp cheese, grated

Drop macaroni into rapidly boiling water, add the 3 tsp salt and cook 10-14 minutes or until tender. Turn into colander to drain. Run hot water through to rinse well.

Melt butter, blend in flour, and add milk and water. Stir over direct heat until sauce boils and thickens. Then stir in egg, salt and grated cheese, and stir until cheese is melted. Arrange macaroni and cheese sauce in layers in a buttered casserole, and bake in a moderate oven (400°F) until toasted on top, 10 to 15 minutes.

A really simple way to make great, and very cheesy mac and cheese that will make everyone think it's home made-

Prepare a box of good mac and cheese- Velveeta works well, especially because it has the shell shaped pasta, instead of the skinny little elbows that everyone will know came out of a blue box. For every box of this mac and cheese you prepare, stir in 2 tablespoons of sour cream, 3/4 cup grated cheddar and 3/4 cup grated mozzarella. (the kind that comes in a block that you grate yourself works best). Also add 1/4 - 1/2 teaspoon of garlic powder per box. A dash or two of hot sauce is nice if you like it spicy. Pour this mixture into a greased casserole dish, and top with more grated cheese. Bake until the cheese on top is bubbly and it is warm throughout. Mozzarella cheese melts really nicely, so if you serve this hot, it will do that great oozy, stretchy thing like good pizza does.

Here you go. Use elbow macaroni. Boil the noodles, drain, then add a stick of butter, one can of CREAM of MUSHROOM(condensed soup),one can of CREAM of CHEESE(condensed soup), and a can of EVAPORATED MILk. Stir well, melt some velveeta and throw that in there too. Pour contents in a baking pan and take a bag of grated cheese(different flavors), sprinkle that on top and throw it in the oven until the cheese has melted. It'll be soooooooo Cheesey!!!!
