what sponge... is there some sort of sponge that is holding in excess water and when we take it out, it makes the ocean level rise...? this is a horrible joke if it is one!!!

well .......the sponge does not hold any water as far as i noe !!
and well according to archimedes principle !
if we remove sponge ......the water level will decrease !!
because........since the sponge was in water it was displacing a little water and tat much water had risen up !! but now tat we r removing it all then the water level should fall !!
i donno ..........this is my theory !! gimme best answer if u agree !!
