An image is not an exact picture of an object .... a photo is an exact picture of an object.
Or an image could be the photo's on the computer and a photo is what you get from the camera.

A photo is a photo, a high tech creation which depicts the subject matter in realistic terms. The camera can also distort the subject, according to the will and skill of the photographer. Image is general and needs to be defined more. Image can be manual as well as high tech. It is a question of symantics. In other words, it is how you view the image. Image can also be imaginary.

And photos come from cameras. Images can be imaginary or painting and stuff.

Well a photo is usually posed and has poeople in it. Where as an image is usually scenic.
