Can any make a slideshow that i can show my parents?
It should be about me trying to get a Yorkshire terrier...

I keep on asking my parents for a yorkshie but they say no .... so i want to show them a Microsoft Powerpoint Slideshow that persuades them to let me get a dog.

When you make the slideshow can you please email it to HunniBear1124@yahoo.com

lol you're clearly responsible enough to have a dog

this is just a suggestion, but if you're trying to get a dog, shouldn't a slideshow be what you know about caring for a yorkie? isn't that the point of making a slideshow to show your parents who as of now don't want a dog?

also, before you settle on a breed of dog (if your parent let you get one) you should visit a shelter and see if you can't find a dog to give a new home...it will save your parents having to deal with a puppy in the house (puppies chew, they pee everywhere...it gets messy) if that's the way to go

good luck hun

I considered doing this. It would actually be fun to make a PP about a terrier...but why deprive you of the fun and the experience? You are the one who needs to explain to your parents exactly why you want the dog and the responsibility. A puppy is cute but it is almost as much work as a new baby. It involves a lot of clean up and a lot of time. So do an image search for cute pictures of terriers to use and write out all your arguments for getting the puppy and make the presentation yourself!

Have you tried sitting down discussing rationally with them why you should be allowed to have a dog? Have you asked them why the answer is 'no'? Have you taken a seat and written down all the pros and cons to owning a dog? Have you seriously considered the time and patience it takes to raise a puppy? These are all questions you need to answer before you continue to harass your parental units.

Instead of having someone else do your work for you, why don't you do the research on the internet and go to your parents with the facts? Do you know anything about the breed or how you plan on caring for one? I have a Yorkie and they are a LOT of work. Do you know how much it cost to get a pup, along with food, grooming, etc?

Look, do what your parents tell you. You are 12, and have other responsibilities you should be taking care of. A dog is a huge responsibility and you don't have that much time.

Bring it up again when you are 16.

There is probably a good reason for your parents saying No. A silly slideshow won't do any good.
