In the original Omen film, David Warner says the following at Damien’s birthday party - “He's either the heir to the Thorn millions - or Jesus Christ himself”…
Note: As the Thorn’s baby had been killed, Damien was/is not the heir to the Thorn Millions – The above line was removed in new 2006 version.
In the new 2006 version, when Damien gets near the church he sees visions of the crucifixion and becomes terrified…
Is he experiencing past memories???

Not as such - Damien was an or the "Anti-Christ" (the ONE who is against the idea/concept of 1 master/saviour in charge of 6.2 billion mindless drones)
Is God really as Vain as Religions would lead us to believe?
I just don't see GOD being happy with his great creation (Humanity) wasting a short living existence with the Mindless Rhetorical bleating and praise.
But then again, we are not all the same, and unlike the Masses, a few of us don't need those play pens of worship in order to comprehend our existence, and learn to really appreciate life, the universe and everything...
Back to the Question: As seen in OMEN2, Damien is gifted with the Knowledge of All History, and therefore, he would be able to recount all events that happened, and not just the death of Yashua Bar Joseph (That's the most accurate translation of Jesus's real/true name, by the way).
In essence Damien was he who is and knows all...
Q: Wasn't Jesus considered Evil by the majority of the People in Jerusalem???

The Thorn name was a parody on the Thorn EMI organisation, who, as Omen 2 (?) stated, made "everything from pop records to atomic bombs". Thorn EMI was a major player in the arms race, and many recording artists in the 1980s' tried to bring this to the awareness of the public.

No. In his past life, he was probably persecuted by the church itself in the early state of the organization.
I do believe, however, if there really was a Saviour of Man, it would probably be Criss Angel. He walks on water, sets himself on fire, and cuts people in half with his bare hands. How is THAT not Christ-like?

No, he was the anti-christ and he wouldn't go near the Church because his only fear was he knew that he could never defeat Jesus.

No demons are scared of Jesus as Jesus has authority over them. As believers do.
