This clearly depend on whether you will be able to put them on a computer. Check out a few internet cafes locally to see what sort of facilities are offered. Some may not allow you to upload images?

Assuming you can, then get an account with online space. So you can upload your images. I have listed some examples below. When you setup your camera take the pictures in the highest resolution because you then always do what you want with them. You will not be able to add those pixels if you save in low resolution and these will be photos of a lifetime.

Hig res pictures will take up large amount of disk space and email systems and the like, may restrict you.

Get a load of cards for your camera as it is easy to change them but you don't want to run out of space just as you need to take that award winning picture. Depending on where you are tavelling it may be some while before you find a suitable Interent point. You can even post them back and buy more for extra security.

Upload as you go via Internet Cafes.

You could always blog for everyone back home as you go. The pictures are then safe and doing a useful job.

You get a free account and can even submit pictures from your mobile phone or by email. In addition you transfer to your Blog, if you have one, in one click. On top of all that you can give family and friends a URL to enter into their web browsers and they can see your pics as you post them and keep up with your exploits ALL FREE!

I would reckon transferring them to a memory stick and perhaps if you get the opportunity then post them
back to your e-mail just in case u lose a stick!!
