You mean not having a boyfriend until you are planning on getting married? And only dating for the purpose of getting married then? Nope. Some people think it is, but personally I laugh in their face and say "Enjoy all the teenage drama and heart break, not to mention being tied down to someone while you're young. I'm gonna be free and wait until I'm serious about it." ;-)

Well if you married and then you get a boyfriend it kind of makes it hard on the marriage. Try having a boy friend before you get married unless your in a fixed marriage culture then it is the norm not to have a boyfriend period

rather weird and wonderful, you're unlikely to have a boyfriend your finished life, then once you get married to a random guy you may then bypass come across a boyfriend. it extremely is impolite to do on your husband.

Seriously though, what does it matter? I would certainly suggest having more than one relationship before marriage, but it's not "required". Just remember, if you don't have a relationship other than the one with your husband, you have nothing to compare it too.
