Love is a condition or phenomenon of emotional primacy, or absolute value. Love generally includes an emotion of intense attraction to either another person, a place, or thing; and may also include the aspect of caring for or finding identification with those objects, including self-love. Love can describe an intense feeling of affection, an emotion or an emotional state. In ordinary use, it usually refers to interpersonal love, an experience usually felt by a person for another person. Love is commonly considered impossible to define.
The concept of love, however, is subject to debate. Some deny the existence of love. Others call it a recently invented abstraction, sometimes dating the "invention" to courtly Europe during or after the middle ages (though this is contradicted by the sizable body of ancient love poetry). Others maintain that love really exists, is not an abstraction, but is indefinable; being a quantity which is spiritual, metaphysical, or philosophical in nature. Some psychologists maintain that love is the action of lending one's "boundary" or "self esteem" to another. And others attempt to define love and apply the definition to everyday life.

Love has a life of its own - one to be treated with respect.
Love means not having to understand everything, but nonetheless being able to understand better and better - without words.
Love is when instead of missing your beloved terribly, you are already looking forward to seeing each other again.
Love is when you figure your beloved belongs to God ultimately, and you are looking to Him to draw you together.
Love is when you consciously aim to love your beloved as God Himself does, and are able to see 'that of God' in your beloved, so that in loving that person, you are showing love to God.

WOW: I feel like a complete person when I am in love. My husband completes the missing pieces of myself. We are eachothers support, eachothers companion, eachothers guide. We need no other, but we welcome others into our lives. Its hard to explain but we both feel like we waited our whole lives to find eachother.

There is no real answer to this question but what I have learned of what love is to me and that is the word LOVE itself holds the answer.......
(L)isten: and validate them by hearing and empathizing.
(O)verlook: their minor character flaws as they will overlook yours.
(V)alue: who they are and what they mean to you.
(E)xpress: how you love them not just with words but with actions.
