I am not trying to offend anyone by this question. I am just very curious to know. I have Catholics in my family but I am Evangelic.

When it's time to confess your sins, do you have to explain in detail the sins you committed?

Could you explain to me the process of this?

Thanks.

Only if you want to "entertain" the priest. And before someone gets too irate, I spent time as a novice in a seminary for the priest hood. I know what I'm talking about

Confessing your sins to any human being does nothing. They can do NOTHING for you. Confession must be to the Lord and you need no one to do this for you, they can't. It has to be out of your mouth. Just another thing that the Catholic faith has convoluted. You can read more here...

'The Judgement' is real...although probably not as commonly accepted in Christianity.

On death you will be lead to a sort of theatre in company with spirit guidance, where you will view your whole life....the good, the bad, the ugly. You will judge yourself as having being spiritual in any or all situations.

Then begins the process of personal salvation...you will decide who you have to forgive and how to go about it (beginning with yourself). Progress of every human soul is a reality.

Is confessing some sin to a representative is better than confessing it to the ruler, who is the most merciful, most beneficent. why not to confess direct to God??
