When a friend/bf buys you something (for no particular reason) do you perfer a really expencive thing? Or something sentimental? I bought my best (girl) friend a little pewter fairy. Do you think she would apreciate it? It was only a tenner but she loves fairies.

Most girls prefer sentimental. It shows that you know them and have been paying attention to them and the things they like. Look at your best girl. If she is the type of person who would buy you a sentimental gift then chances are that is what she would appreciate and she will love the fairy. If she is material and high maintenance then expensive is the way. If she is like that I suggest you find a new girlfriend unless you are able to keep up with the demands of a high maintenance girl.

I perfer something sentimental, it has more meaning to it. When my husband and I were dating he didn't have much money. He would write me poems, make me birthday cards. We've been married 11 years and I still have those things.

She will love you for it. When it comes from the heart it does not matter the cost. Its almost like when your child makes a card for you. Once mothers day is over, all the other cards may be trashed but the card from thr child is kept forever. I jave displayed handmade cards from children way pass the special event.

my old bf bought me a necklace that cost 25 cents and i treated it like a 250 dollar necklace! so no it doesnt matter if it was expencive or not its the thought that counts.

It depends on how close you guys are. If you are true freinds she would appreciate anything you get her b/c she would know that it came from your heart and you where thinking about her. But if she doesn't care about you or your freindship it'll be something she'll take but later sell on ebay or at a backyard sale.

I'm with Kanga! Something meaningful stays in my life even when the guy doesn't. If it is just expensive and not well thought out, I sell it when I break up with him............LOL!

she will like it..i mean she's your best friend!!! Get something inexpensive but your sure they will like..I bought my bestfriend bracelet made of beads and i also have one...its like a friendship thing and she just loves it..:)
