Go see a doctor, now.

Sounds like you may have a medical issue that only a physician can diagnose. GO!

In the meantime, don't nap because that does not help the sleeping situation. Get on a routine. Go to bed at the same time EVERY night and get up at the same time EVERY day. No reading or TV in bed, no eating within two hours of going to bed.

Eat in very small amounts, six times a day. Bland food (no spices) might help. Google and you will find a huge list of bland foods which includes pudding, jello, cottage cheese, cheese, cchicken, mashed potatoes, etc. And after you eat sit up for at least thirty minutes.

AND GET TO A DOCTOR

I go through phases where i cant sleep, and have had this problem for years. I havnt found a solution yet, and have learned to live with it. Actually, the human body can get by on a lot less than the prescribed 8 hours that most of us seem to think we need.
Try a warm milky drink about half an hour before you go to bed, also reading sometimes helps me so get your self a good book.

Sorry i couldnt be more helpful.

Good luck and sweet dreams!

Sounds like you either have a case of insomnia or depression both of which are perfectly normal for short periods ( up to 2 weeks) after that Id see a dr.
Insomnia can cause all sorts of things to feel wrong....your appetitte included.
Depression can cause many of the same symptoms including many physical ones
good luck

I think the number one piece of advice that could help you is to make sure you're getting enough exercise. Even if it's just running for 15 minutes a day, this can really help in maintaining healthy sleeping and eating routines.

but in addition, maybe you're also in a psychological slump. mix things up, and spice up your life. maybe join a new club or activity. make new friends. go for a hike with some people whose company you enjoy. pursue an old dream or ambition with new resolve. that should do it!

You're depressed.
It affects appetite and sleep patterns.
Its probably stress induced.
See a psychiatrist - quickly.
Lack of sleep WILL get to you.
If you cant get to one quickly, knock yourself out with NyQuil for a few nights - just a few. But that can make the depression worse after that - so get some serious help.

I remember a particular break-up many years ago. I went thru that eating problem for about a month. Didn't recognize it until I kept leaving lots on the plate.

Emotions are thrashing you around and you need to sort it out. Get your emotions in line, and you will return to normal.

Good Luck

Wow. . .Well how do you feel EMOTIONALLY? Are you sad or anxious a lot of the time? These all sound like signs of depression to me--changes in appetite and sleeping habits. Maybe you should talk to your doctor about getting on anti-depressants?

Obviously you are not giving the whole story here.....sounds like an anxiety disorder but without a whole lot more information it is impossible to tell.
Discuss it with your doctor and be more forthcoming about what else is going on in your life.

uh huh... sounds like something is really bothering you. You may not be aware of it, but it may be an underlying problem, and you are unconsciously responding negatively to it.

lack of appetite and sleep deprivation are also signs of depressions, if this starts to affect your life and you feel that you are losing control over the situation, you may want to consider seeing a doctor.

hope you feel better.

It's possible that you're stressed about something (a significant other, family, friends, etc). It may be causing a mild form of depression which would explain the lack of appetite and sleep.
