Question for people who believe God is a Flying Spaghetti Monster?

Good morning, agnostic here not trying to change anyones religion.

As many of you know I am reading the Christian Bible. I also picked up a copy of the Gospel of the Flying Spaghetti Monster. I note that there is the same empirical evidence for both God/Jesus as there is FSM.

I note that in the Gospel of the FSM that the FSM created and loves everyone, including homosexuals, and that homosexuals will be able to get into the FSM heaven, where there is a beer volcanoe.

So my question is, are you a Pastafarian because you find that you are someone who loves and respects people who are both heterosexual and homosexual, and saw that reflected in the Pastafarian religion.

(Disclaimer: I know the FSM is a parody religion, but this is a serious question, ie - even thou 99% of Pastafarians are atheist/agnostic in reality - does a God that accepts homosexuals appeal to you, even thou you kinda know God isn't real)

I'd rather have a God tolerant and respectful of everyone, than one who picks and chooses who are important and worthy to them.

Also, you can't compete with a beer volcano and a stripper factory...

Yes, I could go to a church of the FSM once in a while. But mostly for the ritual spaghetti dinners, and meatball orgies. The beer volcanoe doesn't interest me as much.

super question!!! there is easily no difference. i admire the introduction of the FSM as a results of fact followers can and do make the top same assertions that Christians do, and because there is a similar volume of information for the two, ie none, believers discover themselves having to declare that only their god would desire to be the only that is known, yet they haven't any foundation for his or her argument. announcing that their god is genuine and the FSM isn't does not make it so. They SO are not getting it. they might comprehend this good judgment deep down, and in certainty, a number of them easily do. yet they think of they'll danger their freakin immortal souls in the event that they renowned the inevitable certainty of an argument that places their faith below a microscope. they'll grant all styles of BS to attempt to instruct that their god is unquestionably and that the different god, notwithstanding if or no longer it relatively is Allah or Zeus or the FSM, isn't genuine. they might't do it. But yes, I prefer a diety that is accepting of people. Wasn't this the appeal of Jesus when he was first introduced to the world?

... That, unlike the gods before him, he was nuturing to his subjects ... rather than deceptive, cruel, or spiteful.

Really, it doesn't matter what kinda traits you want to ascribe to the divine. It doesn't exist anyways. The judeochristoislamic (whew, there's a mouthful!) god sounds like a pretty alright guy who has his stuff in order, if you interpret what he taught in the context of the times when he taught it. I'd follow such a god if his teachings were understood in the modern context as well, but they aren't. Of course, I'd also follow any god at all if there was proof he existed...
