Eye question?

I am nearsighted (I think, I can see close up) wear conatacts that are -5.00, I was wondering what that was on 20/20 scale.

You are nearsighted. There is no direct formula to convert from your Rx to what you can read on the eye chart but a -5.00 would be >20/400.
