Not always. There are people out there that lie to get what they want and if you give them the benefit of the doubt, you will get swindled.
Best way to go about it, is to listen to their story. Then, go with your gut instinct. If it doesn't feel right, don't go along with it.

I think so, I mean unless it's obvious they are just trying to take advatage but even then perhaps think about their background. YOu can learn alot from walking in another's shoes.
