granted, I should never have asked her to stop in and have a drink, but on the other hand, I don't really feel like there's much I could have done to prevent it either.

Well your saying you cheated which means you have or had a girlfriend. And your asking if you could have not prevented her from coming over for a drink. Well your first mistake was asking this women to come over, thats a big NO No right there especially if you had a girlfriend, Second was asking her to come over for a drink because we all know one drink leads to another, and once drinking our minds shut down and people do stupid things when there drunk. But for the #1 reason for you not to prevent this was you shouldn't of asked her to even come over in the first place now. I hope your girlfriend knows this cause if not you need to tell her because if you don't and she finds out from another resource your gonna get a WHOOPING. And to answer your question yes it is considered cheating because you new if you invited this girl over for a drink something it was gonna happen, so be a man and confesse to your women because thats what i would do and this is a man speaking

Yes. And there is something you could have done to prevent it. Actually 2 things.
1. Not drank at all because getting drunk can lead to things, good ro bad.
2. Stoppped drinking before you got so drunk.
If you have a girlfriend and you sleep with someone else it is considered cheating under any circumstance. I have never ever ever heard of a good reason for cheating. Simply because if you cared about that person that would be the last thing on your mind to do and one of the first things on your mind enver to do.

lol sorry it is considered cheating, just think of it this way, whatever you dont want your partner doing you shouldnt be doing, how would you feel if your gf invited some guy in to have a drink , and couldnt remember, would you call it cheating?
