I, myself, my own views on this. I believe that God creates your fate and destiny before you are even born. He knows when, how, and how long you are going to live... What are your views on this.

i think that althought some things like our date of death may be predetermined and God has a plan for our lives that we are given free will and we don't always follow the plan that God wants us on and then God tries to do things to give us the push in the direction he wants us to be in.

destiny is your capital and fate is the interest.

His name was Fleming, and he was a poor scottish farmer. One day, while trying to make a living for his family, he heard a cry for help coming from a nearby bog. He dropped his tools and ran to the bog. There, mired to his waist in black muck, was a terrified boy, screaming and struggling to free himself. Farmer Fleming saved the lad from what could have been a slow and terrifying death.

The next day, a fancy carriage pulled up to the Scotsman's sparse surroundings. An elegantly dressed nobleman stepped out and introduced himself as the father of the boy Farmer Fleming had saved.

"I want to repay you," said the nobleman. "You saved my son's life." "No, I can't accept payment for what I did," the Scottish farmer replied, waving off the offer. At that moment, the farmer's own son came to the door of the family hovel.

"Is that your son?" the nobleman asked. "Yes," the farmer replied proudly. "I'll make you a deal. Let me take him and give him a good education. If the lad is anything like his father, he'll grow to a man you can be proud of." And that he did.

In time, Farmer Fleming's son graduated from St.Mary's Hospital Medical School in London, and went on to become known throughout the world as the noted Sir Alexander Fleming, the discoverer of Penicillin.

Years afterward, the nobleman's son was stricken with pneumonia. What saved him? Penicillin.

The name of the nobleman? Lord Randolph Churchill. His son's name? Sir Winston Churchill.

What goes around comes around.
Work like you don't need the money.
Love like you've never been hurt.
Dance like nobody's watching.

I believe that there are certain challenges or events that take place in your life beyond your control, and that these events would be present in your life no matter what choices you have made. So yes I do believe in Fate, yet I think a lot of what comes in your life is directly associated with your own choices.

So I would say there are events that you will experience, but the rest and majority of the experiences that make up your life are direct results of your choices.

I believe in destiny, but not in fate. God knows everything about us, but we are not robots. God destines us all for greatness, health and prosperity. But it's our choice to live those things out by faith throught the living Word of God or not.

Nope- God gives us our agency, the ability to make our own choices, we then have to choose and we make our own destiny! There is no magic path already set for us. God knows us and the decisions we will make but this is not destiny. It is like a parent knowing their child so well that they know that they would choose vanilla ice cream over chocolate ice cream if given a choice- God knows us well but he still lets us choose!

I don't. God gave us common sense and the freedom of choice. You create your fate and you create your destiny. God has nothing to do with them.

God (if there is one) would, of course, being omniscient, know everything that was going to happen to you, everything you would do.
However, we live in a universe of time, one in which there is a past, present and future.
God, however, is outside of time. And, while it's probably impossible for the human mind to grasp the concept of eternity, probably the closest we can come to it is to imagine never-ending present, one in which our concepts of past and future are meaningless.
Perhaps, to God, the beginning and end of creation are happening simultaneously.
Plus, I believe in free will, not TOTALLY free, but rather like a superhighway with a large number of different lanes. While we can't get off the highway totally, we can choose to switch lanes many times.
Without free will, there can be no personal responsibility for one's actions and their consequences.

I dont think God created your fate. You are born wit free will; however, I DO believe God knows the decisions you will make from birth to death.
