I think it depends on the context that the word is being used in. I mean i've said it and my boyfriend new what i was trying to say. But if she's got sweat beads on her forhead and she's all sweaty then she HOT in the sense that you need to cool her off with a/c a fan or something.

Being hot may have a multiple meaning. It may be that which you're suggesting or it may be along the line of being creative when doing it. It may even be in line of beauty. I think it's just a matter of semantics.
