My family own a caravan at a holiday camp, and we've been going for years, during this year, however, i've seen a really cute lad, and I really like him, but don't know how I can tell him this..or just approach him.
I'm 14 and have always had a bit of a problem with my self-confidence, and have always been shy around strangers, but this boy whom I like has smiled at me before and I've been hoping that he'd talk to me, but he hasn't. My family are going again in a couple of weeks and this time I wanna be able to talk to him, even if I just end up being friends with him. My friends say I should just go up and say hi, but they're all confident and don't realise how hard it is for me just to do that. And as the other people I go with are parents and younger cousins, no-one can introduce us for me either! Any advice..Please?!

The frisbee idea is a good one... but that needs you to be confident as well (and also not to be useless at frisbee throwing!).

You said that you have younger cousins with you - how about getting one of them to go over to him when he's on his own, to try to get him to play with him or her (maybe a frisbee again). Then after a couple of minutes, you go over to "retrieve" your little cousin, apologising to the lad about your annoying little cousin.

You then send your cousin back to your caravan, and just chat to him for a little while. After a few minutes, you could say something like "Do you fancy an ice cream? Shall we go and get one from the shop?" Hopefully, he'll say "Yes" and off you go! Don't forget to make sure you have enough money for 2 ice creams, in case he hasn't got any money on him at the time.

Good luck!

Why not bring one of your "confident" friends (preferably 1 who isnt single!!!) with you + get them to come up 2 him with you?! there is power in numbers and it would make the whole situation easier!!! gud luck!!

you have my name! I am also a Sarah Louise.
names aside...
Just go up to him and talk to him. I know it is hard to have the confidence to do so, but if you do it, you will feel much much better. I hope you see him!

go for it. what have you got to lose. you'll never forgive yourself if you don't. it'll always be running through your mind "if only i'd had the courage, things could of been so different. don't torture yourself, be confident

ask him to play frisbee with you? this way it's not like a come-on, but it's one-on-one and you'll get to know each other better. Have fun!
