(Addressing the question actually asked... but with a disclaimer this is my reasoning but not my belief):
In most religions, GOD is a creator, a life-giver. Applying that mentality to people would mean that GOD is a woman.
Religions that celebrate or venerate nature tend to also give it a feminine aspect... because nature, in essence, is the balance of cycles. Think of it in terms of seasons: Spring is fertile, life is created, birth is everywhere; In Summer the seeds that began to sprout in Spring are able to develop to their potential, to bloom, develop, grow; In Autumn or Fall things begin to turn in upon themselves, to wane or prepare for the end; Winter is the season of sleep or death, when there is quiet; In Spring life begins again.
The obvious correlation here is with women as, again, the life-givers. Menses cycles determine a woman's fertility. If her menses is stable (not in terms of days) then she is more likely to be fertile. Women birth new generations of our race (SPRING), tend them as they grow, learn and develop (SUMMER), go through menopause when their body deems that their fertility is of no further use to them (FALL) and are able to die happy when they have seen to it that their progeny are able to continue to cycle of life (WINTER).
That makes sense to me.

A feminine aspect of God(s) is a part of every major religion before Christianity. Even in Judaism they represent the analytic intellect (Binah [sic] in the Hebrew, offered so it can be looked up) of Yaweh as his feminine aspect. In almost every case it is this intellectual dividing up of the world that is seen as seperating man from oneness with the divine. Perhaps this is why Eve is depicted the way she is in Genesis, and why the fruit she and Adam are no to eat is for distiguishing between two states (good and evil), shattering the fundamental unity they had been enjoying with the divine. But it is also this intellect that overcomes itself to see the truth of the divine. The feminine is the emination of the transcendental divine into (indeed as) the universe, and it is also said to lead us to see past the illusion it weaves. To me this is all (important) metaphor, not necessarily a statement about some actual entities.

Im not sure there is a "god" per-se, however, the Universe has always struck me as feminine. Perhaps thats only because Im a man but it seems most given to it.
The Universe is constantly creating - birthing things - even carelessly but always growing with something new.
The Universe bears a harshess of heart that addresses practicalities I've only ever seen in women. Where procreation is concerned, women become very practical, despite the emotions that run about the subject.
The Universe has a startling beauty and allure that Ive only ever found amongst the women of life. They are attractive and tempt men to fall in Love and even to have children. We become so smitten (men) we stop doing much else. Anyone who's ever seen and heard a waterfall has felt the softly blown kisses of her allure.

I believe in God the Father and God the Mother. You need a man and a woman to create life. It just makes sense that there is a male and female God.

If God is so amazing and great, beyond even our imagination, then "he" transcends gender. Any monotheistic holy book was originally written in Hebrew, or Arabic. And in those languages, like latin based languages, all objects are gender-based. If something does not have a gender, or if you are referring to a "person", but not specifically a male or female, than you would use the male form of that word. So whenever that is translated to english, or read by any male, it is assumed that God is also male.

I believe God is a woman, otherwise, someone has run off with my manbits and I don't know where my children came from!
Sorry, did you want a serious answer. Well, I don't know if God actually exists but only maybe a higher spirit such as Mother Nature. I think you can probably work out the rest.

God has always had the elements of male and female. It is called the marriage of Divine Love and Divine Wisdom or the marriage of good and truth.

God is a spirit. Why do people keep asking this?!!! John 4:24 states, “God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth.” Since God is a spiritual being, God does not possess physical human characteristics
