Spirits are your typical hard alcohol (ie. vodka, rum, whiskey, gin, etc.) Liqueurs are more of your sipping drinks. Alot of the them are your sweeter, creamier sipping drinks. (ie. Amarula, Baileys, Godiva, etc.) Not all are creamy though .(Ouzo, Sambuca, China White, etc...)
