I accidentally let rip down there fairly frequently. Do you, as guys, find it weird and off putting? Do you ealise it is from the trapped air in my vagina and nit an anal fart? do you see it as regualr or does it ruin sex?

Don't let anyone tell you otherwise. It is fairly common. In certain positions, as you point out air can get trapped inside the vagina and then make a 'farty' sound when it is pushed out by the motion common to the act of lovemaking.
Women are usually self-conscious about it, as they often are about most things 'down there' but probably also because they think it may be mistaken for a real fart.
I can't speak for other men, but personally I don't find it off-putting at all. It's just a natural thing to happen and it should not embarrass in any way.

Its sex! why stop a good time because of a rude noise? Sex is pretty gross if you think about it, so dont. Just hump, and if it really bothers you get some ear plugs.
