I am 5 years older than this guy I met and really like.....so far age hasn't been a factor...but do you all think it will be?

so there is nothing wrong with that age, its more has to deal with how old you act and how much responsibility you take.

Usually the man is older in most relationships, but five years is nothing. If you're happy, go for it and have fun. Don't let the stigma of age difference get in the way of possibly finding true love.

I think you will be OK. My wife is 20 and I am 25 and we have a very strong relationship. I might be hard when he turns 21 and wants to go to the bars but I would wait till the time comes and deal with it then.

Go for it after all age is just a number,my last girlfriend was 17 years older than me,though it was fun while it lasted.

No. As you both get older it will become even less of an issue. When you are 70 he will be 65, not really a difference there.

there has been successful so far relationships for couples that are 20 and 18 years apart so i think so

I don't think 5 years is such a big deal. i wouldn't worry too much about it, as long as you both want the same thing from the relationship, I don't see a problem.

Not necessarily. My friend and her husband have been married 13 years and he's -5.
You might want to wait a little longer, til he's finished with school, etc. Unless you want to be his mother instead of his lover.

age has nothing to do with it my mom married a man 8 years younger then her.they just celebrated thier 20 wedding anniversery don't worry!
