I have met this guy about 6 years ago online. He lives in Canada and I live in Europe. He is going to visit me in a few weeks. We like each other a lot but we want to meet each other first to know if we really love each other. I was wondering if anybody had the same experience and how was your first meeting? Was it weird or did it feel normal? Did you know what to talk about? Would you sleep with him on the first meeting? Please tell me your stories.

@MrX: We want to meet to find out if we love each other. We both know that we have to meet in real life to find that out because online you can't see how the other person behaves in everyday life.

Yes, i have had a long distance relationship before...and it went excellent...however, i decided that long distance relationships require more work and effort than i was willing to provide...yes when we first met everything was quite normal....sleep with him??? hmmm....that is only a decision that you can make based on you and how u feel about him....you will just have to play that one by ear.

I had my friend who really married his wife throught the web and they end it up on a divorse after 6 months. So dont be sure u are in love with him. Your feeling may turn down if you get to know him in real life.
