It's like David said ..this is the day that the Lord hath made let all rejoice and be glad in it.Psalms 118:24...Everyday is an opportunity to worship and know him and tell someone else about his saving power..I thank God that He gave me opportunity in a year to lift him up in the trucking industry...and share the gospel with truck drivers..I was a truck driver and now a city bus driver ...and when God puts someone in the way to hear I believe God and tell them...since the bible does say that time and opportunity is what men have Ecclesiastes.9:11..then as long as we have a breath ...we need to share the gospel...God bless

I've served God by using my talents and education as a teacher and later as a social worker and a caregiver to the mentally challenged. Both were wonderful careers that gave me the opportunity to serve God by serving the needs of others. And this website, where there is so much hatred against Christians, gives me a chance to state the reasons I will serve Him to my dying breath. It is interesting to note that all the hatred and persecution being focused on Christians is just one more reason to know that we are in the final days before Jesus returns.

Is the question a personal question of servitude or one of a more general nature? Because i am personally convinced that little good deeds done out of pure "niceness" help glue the world together against the tide of insanity that seems to try to engulf the whole world. Are you serving God when you do these things? If someone asks you "why did you do that for me?" or for someone else and your answer is a confession of your faith then you are serving God directly by commandment through your faith, testimony and witness. If you do something as a random act of kindness then you are serving God in a much broader sense as your seemingly inocous nice gesture serves the side of light that stands against the darkness. Does the Almighty see your simple act of kindness? Yes He absolutely does. However, one must ask him or herself; "why DID i do that?" Being 'nice' has to come from somewhere within doesnt it?

I feel that He has given me the opportunity on Yahoo answers to help some people with their faith. I pray before I start answering questions and feel many times that He has guided me through the answers. Whenever I come into contact with other people it is a chance to work for the Lord. I try to pray for alot of people almost everday. I volunteer at the food bank, I take dogs in that need temporary homes do that they domn't have to die.

Several years ago, I served on the puppet ministry at my church.
For the last two years, I taught First grade sunday school
This year, I share my testimony daily to people who ask Christian-based questions on Yahoo! Answers.
The key is to look for the opportunities that God gives you. Not all of them are written in big bold letters.

Humans were created in the image of God, so helping other human beings is serving God. I coach Special Olympic athletes, I volunteer with my church youth group, and I work with children who have behavioral and/or emotional problems. I believe God led me to each of those opportunities in my life.

Every opportunity in life is an opportunity to serve and glorify Him and His Kingdom...we only need to look at it with His eyes and not our own!
Grace to you and God Bless!

I have no great ministry but I try to serve God everyday by being grateful, talking to him while I'm cleaning, gardening, caring for my dogs, helping anyone when possible, saying a short prayer for those who hurt me or are rude to me or others. When things need to be done and I don't feel like doing it I always explain this to Him and ask for His help. He ALWAYS
comes thru and I actually enjoy whatever I'm doing and it's really easy.

Everyday is a testimony to God. When we choose to treat each other with love and respect we are serving God and showing others that he is truely great. Just like Daniel did with the King and his council.
