Can a fever blister cause your lymph glands to swell?

Yes, mine start to get sore right before the blister appears. Try abreeva, it works really well for me.

It's possible, but i would more think you have a secondary infection some where, something that caused the fever blister..your glands can swell from anything from sinuses..to infection..call your doc. get his opinion over the phone..maybe you need some antibiotics.
and i read someones response that everyone has the herpes virus..that isn't true..my body seems to be immune to it..I've never even so much as gotten a cold sore.

It is more common to see swelling of the lymph nodes in children with fever blisters but it is not unheard of for it to happen to adults.

maybe, but it could be the symptoms of a glandular infection.

A fever blister is really the herpes simplex virus. and we ALL carry it
