if you go to England you can live and work illegally for years and years... but be careful if you look like a terrorist, etc,etc... ok I live in China and work there, recently they had a blitz and went round all the places where they know the foreigners were working and deported 30 people for not having a work visa, they were working on tourist visas..tut tut, a big no brainer this one... is it ok do you think for the government to do this? human rights and all that.. or just plain good old common sense... see the lunacy of the UK open door policy? and this EU nonsense, everyone says how bad and evil the communists are but they look after their own mate I can assure you... when are the Brits going to wake up and smell the coffee, I'm British...

In my personal opinion...Working illegally is wrong. It's the Governments job, to protect their country's border from illegal immigrants, and workers. Right now in the US, we have the same problem. Mexicans are continually trying to come over here illegally. Thankfully our President is trying to stop them, apart from the fact that some of our citizens are mad about it.

Thing is, the Brits seem to be deporting the wrong people!!
I've seen two instances of deportation - one was an Aussie architect (WHY he got deported I have no idea) the second was an Italian who was working on a week expired visa (Or something stupid like that) but both were paying taxes and making a contribution to this country
Yet all the illegal immigrants are free to beg on the streets, sponging off our NHS which is nearly bankrupt, causing chaos and not one thing is done. I really don't understand our immigration system here in the UK. Sheer Lunacy - but thats our government for you

Media reports suggest that the Chinese are a major immigration problem and feature significantly in clandestine entries to the UK. UK law does NOT allow the detention of a suspected, or real, illegal immigrant after initial formalities unless that person can be removed from the UK. Almost all Chinese met with in the UK are, according to media reports, undocumented (no passport). Hence they are not "removable", ergo not detainable under the current laws. The only redress is application to the Chinese Embassy so as to document the illegals for removal. European media reports suggest such applications are mostly unproductive.

I got deported from Australia for working on a tourist visa, so I went to New Zealand and did the same thing. To be honest I agree with their policy of kicking people out who shouldn't be working, it's for the good of the economy after all.
The policy in the uk is abysmal.

specific, you will properly be deported. Being married to a citizen with the aid of itself does not make you a lawful resident with a superb to stay and artwork here. you will desire to record the place of work work AND be approved. Your rapid marriage 2 days after your visa expired plus your loss of a sponsor skill which you acquire married to get a eco-friendly card. as quickly as you do line up a sponsor for the affidavit of help and record, do no longer assume that approval is computerized. This communicate board many times gets questions from human beings whose spousal eco-friendly card applications have been denied as a results of fact the spouses did no longer seem to be a actual married couple.

Let's Keep This Simple....the main complaint has nothing to do with people working LEGALLY in the US...only those who come here without any legitimate paperwork or means to identify them. Just think about that for a second...no way to know who they are if they commit a violent crime, spikes in the theft and sale of identity, drains on social and welfare programs...the list goes on and on. The point I am trying to make is that in this page of history, it is imperative for a country to know who lives within it's borders!!!

Working illegally is working illegally. Governments have a right, if not a job, to protect their borders from illegal workers and anything else that threatens their way of life.

I'm Irish and we are currently in the process of making the exact same mistakes you British did years ago, I agree with everything you say.

More countries should be following China´s example. In other countries illegal immigration is not tolerated, why should it be in the US and the UK?

Dude, first of all, there are people who are trying to make everything right( in every aspect of immigration obligation). Consider yourself being in their shoes, then you hear people getting away with being illegal, does it sound right to you? Is it fair?
