A man has a fox, a chicken, and some corn, he wants to bring them across the river on his small raft. He can only take on of the three things across at a time, and he cant leave the chicken with the corn or the fox with the chicken at any time or one of them will be eaten. How does he manage to get them all across safely taking only one across at a time?

Im sure many people know this one, but I was actually able to stump a few people with it yesterday!

He'll take the chicken first, and leave the fox with the corn.
Then he'll get back to take the fox.
Then he'll get back with the chicken and take the corn, leaving the corn with the fox.
Finally, he'll take the chicken.

First to get, 10 points please. :)

Take the chicken across first, then come back, take the corn. Drop the corn with the chicken and take the chicken back. This time take the fox and leave the chicken behind, come back to pick up the chicken and then u can continue on your journey... It's better for the fox to be with the corn at most times.

First he takes the chicken across and leaves the fox and corn. He returns, gets the fox and leaves the corn. He drops off the fox and return with the chicken then leave the chicken at the starting side and takes across the corn and leaves it with the fox.

Finally he returns for the chicken. They are all across safely without anything eaten!

He'll take the chicken first across the river
then he will go back and bring the fox across
he'll take the chicken back with him when crosses to get the corn, he'll leave the chicken and cross the river with the corn
he'll go back across and get the chicken and take him across the river... then he has all 3 without the worry of losing any of them!
