Being of large body is not bad of itself.

There are some health risks involved:
Diabetes
Heart Disease
Arthritis

Being happy is much more important, in my opinion. Concentrate on that, but be aware that choices you make can impact on your health and on your future happiness.

no, i don't think that it is...as another user stated just as long as ur taking care of urself & ur eating right, then it's ok. What we need 2 remember is that every1 isn't meant 2 b as thin as Paris Hilton are well figured as Maria Carey.. We all have different genetics so pretty much we have 2 luv who we are. Trust me there is someone out there that will luv u 4 being just the way u r. Just continue 2 excercise & eat right. Take care!!!

As long as you are healthy and happy in your own skin that is all that matters. But being way big means you can end up with heart problems, high blood pressure, and such. If you have any concerns about your weight or your health because of your weight i suggest you talk to your Doctor.

Despite the health factors involved, think about your future, will your size hold you back in anyway? For example my wife and me are going hiking in Yosemite National park next summer and I would not be happy if she couldn't because she was too big to handle the thin air at high altitudes. We like to walk around the city on weekends, and if one of us was too big to walk for a couple of hours I'm sure it would put a damper on our relationship. Understand that I am not obsessed with weight, as long as it doesn't interfere with the things that we enjoy in life. We both love to eat, but a little bit taste just as good as a lot.

well theres a thing being said "If im im skinny as a barbie i don't have any curves if im big and beatiful i can't get that while im thin" so its depending i mean you can't be like a million pounds but still im 14 and i wear a size 9-10 in pants but no one has my rear end lol im always telling my mom how fat i feel and i got a comment yesterday day by a friend of mine hes said i hate when girls say there fat when there like a tooth pick and i told my mom that and she said well think of what your saying so i thuoght it thru and i guess im not as fat as i say i am im just fluffy lol but if were to got on a diet (which i have) im going to lose evey thing i have now (as in my curves) and well from beatiful~fluffy~soft~curvy to thin~boney~flat~and not soft what would you pick? or average size is good you have all but not too much curves!

as long as you're healthy and not in denial of the fact that you're eating poorly and not exercising.
There was a study done recently that said the most overweight and out of shape people claimed to exercise 3 times a week and eat healthy and it really wasn't true. I honestly think a lot of just dont' realize that they are not living healthy or they are in denial.

If you work out and are aeating healthy than there really isnt any reason why you would stay over weight....if you were eating right and excersising, you WILL lose weight.

the long term effects of being obese are bad joints and arthitis, asthma, diebetes, among other things. you will also have more energy and feel more confident aobut yourself...bnot to mention less stress.

As a overwieght adult i would strongly suggest losing the wieght now before you get older.the older you get the harder it comes off. Also i'm not treated very well most of the time because i'm fat and ppl think thats gross and don't want to be seen with you.Its really sad that when you are overweight and happy with yourself ppl still are mean. On one hand if your happy screw everyone else.but if your not don't waste your life thinking your fat and ugly, do something about, today.good luck and i hope this helps.

Its healthier to be slim, you know people won't be making unkind remarks about you behind your back if you are slim, you will be much more attractive to the opposite sex if you are slim. Start eating right, put down the fatty foods (fatty meats, cheese, all oily foods) and start eating lean meats and vegetables, no sodas, and start exercising. Build an attractive body. You will glow with inner confidence. It is worth it.

There are people out there who love big, so don't worry about it. If you are trying to get into a relationship, show off your body. No matter what you look like, there will always be someone who thinks you are the hottest thing they have ever seen.
