There was this guy I liked a few years ago and he was really quiet. However, he was quiet around most girls. I thought he liked me for a little while, but I think I was wrong. However, I never asked if he actually liked me. We mostly just said 'hi' also. Anyway, so now we're friends, and I couldn't be happier with the boyfriend I have now.
Girl, the only way you're going to find out if he likes you is to talk to him more. After a little while ask him if he likes you. If you like him, the situation is completely different. Go for it. Ask him if he likes you. If he says yes, he may ask you out, and if he says no, maybe it was just that he wanted to get to know you better.

well maybe he had a crush on you and now he have meet someone based on your question but he till likes u but as a friend. i have had experiences like that i met this boy and i am crazy inlove with him and now i like him as a friend cause i found someone who is able to stand and say he loves me so my idea is stand you on ur feet and tell him how you feel about him i know this maybe hard to do but try.k

I can't tell you if he likes you, maybe he does and he's just better at not seeming so nervous because he's used to it.
