Sometimes my pupils (in my eyes) are drastically different in size...sometimes slightly..sometimes not at all. Is this something that just happens with some people? Has anyone else had this? I'm looking for firsthand experience. Thanks everyone :)
P.S. - I know I should see a neurologist..and I will..I'm just looking to see if anyone has firsthand experience of what this could be. Can it be benign?

I do sit in an office that has much more light on the right hand side. However, the right pupil always seems to be larger...and I would think it would be smaller if it was the one constantly getting more light..

i have this, it's called aniscoria. 10 percent of the population have it. fairly common. i asked my dr about it. when they are concerned is when one is enormous and the other small. if you have no headaches, eye pain, balance problems etc. it's usually fine. I had a quick neurologic exam with my dr and it was nothing to indicate neurologically i had problems that way. if you are concerned definitely see your md. i hope this helps.
also the way they react to light is the most important factor. mine were fine. just at my "normal" state, one is slightly bigger.

depends on the amount of light take reaches each eyes. your pupils open and closes depending on how much light there is.......try this.
Go in front of a mirror and put you hands over your eyes whitout closing them and whitout letting any light in. count to 30 and then look at your pupils through the mirror. You'll see that they'll become smaller

It isn't usually normal. Is this a recent change for you? I would see an eye doctor before a neurologist. It would be less expensive and you may get your answer there. Good luck with this.

i think instead of seeing a neurologist, i would see an eye doctor first to see if there is something wrong with the pupil itself.

I think thats cute that u have different sized pupils. I do too only sometimes, though. Is it way bigger or slightly bigger? Mine is slightly bigger. It's sorta natural, but u should still see a neurologist. I saw one. he was nice but, he was wierd, too.
I spare you this advice, but for i will only tell you twice,it is
"SORTA" natural

No - not normal. Unless one side of your face is constantly exposed to more light than the other. Go see a doctor.

shillings a puss, did you notice that he didnt change his sox the whole game? it was probrably a nose bleed from wiping away his tears and he wiped the blood on his sox to look like a warrior. we yankees dont buy that stuff... saying this is a rivalry is like comparing a hammer to a nail.. looks like your pupil trouble has affected your eyes and sense too. good luck loser.. you see things that arent there.
