Im one of those people who has to deal with the problem head on. I cant just pretend its not there. Talking with friends always helps to destress a situation and you can get some advice that is non biased. When Im so stressed I want to scream I hit the pool. I swim laps until Im so tired I cant think or remember what I was stressed about. Then a hot shower and a book. Maybe some watermelon. Any physical activity to release endorphins should help.

Deep breath, pray, cry (if needed), talk about it with close friend or loved one, get over it and move on. Life's too short to be stressed out!

well thats 2 qusetions:
1) i de-stress by playing a violent computer game like saints row or grandtheft auto and go round beating the sh!t out of everyone.
2) when i have a problem i have to sit down and think about how to deal with it, somtimes i write down what im thinking cos that helps me with the fealing of bottleing things up inside, then once i have thought out the best way to solve my problem i face it head on and sort it out.

I take a deep breath and visualize the problem from another perspective. Once I do that, I try to solve it. If I can't solve it, I shelf it - by that I mean, I get it out of my mind. If it still bothers me, I'll go get a massage or take a long hot bath.
Usually, the problem goes away or becomes easy to solve.

Take a walk, a nap, a relaxing bath, watch a movie, read a book, basically anything that you like to do by yourself. Also take a deep breath, that usually helps. Breathe in for like 8 seconds through your nose then hold it in for about 3, then let it out through your mouth slowly..that's what my health teacher said to do the ''proper'' deep breath.
