Yup - in the span of about six months, I found out about a year long affair my husband had been having and my youngest son was sent to prison for crimes committed because of his heroin addiction. Thankfully, I found a decent counselor to talk to. She would ask me each time I went if I had a suicide plan, I would tell her yes and describe it and then she would ask me what was stopping me from doing it. I had to think each time she asked me about how lucky I was that my son was still alive, that my other two children were healthy and happy and that I had so much to live for. Suicide is a long term solution to short term problems. If you are thinking about ending your precious life, don't wait another second - find someone to talk with, cry with, laugh with.

Yes I have, and the thought recurrs from time to time. This happens to more people than will admit. Some people call it cowardess and that we want an easy way out, but the thoughts come into your head anyhow. It is something you have to resist, sort of like how you hold your urine when there is not place to pee, and the sensation goes away, and then it comes back. The problem is that committing suicide is not the act of going to the toilet,... I have seen it, and no one remembers you after about a year. Get some professional help and remember that they won't completely understand you. You just need to work on understanding yourself and teach your self what to do when the thoughts of suicide come to you.

Yea i did a few times actually. More recently ive been set on doing it, a lot of times though its just been an act of self-harm.
Please remember there are no painless ways to do it. Also the idea of taking pills and going to sleep just doesnt happen, it takes years of overdoses to eventually kill you cause all ure insides are messed up - that happens in the movies.
If you are contemplating attempting suicide- i would be good trying to talk to a health care professional or trusted friend? Saying that thou i think if someone really wants to die they will keep it a complete secret and wont talk to anyone about it.
I have had the same problem over the past two weeks- i overdosed twice really not caring if i lived or died. The mental health people clearly didnt believe i wanted to die then yesterday i went to my GP who was worried about me and wanted an urgent assesment. When my Cpn and HRT person came they said if i really wanted to do the things i said why did i see my DR and then wait around for them!? I was like oh right maybe i shouldnt of then hey! They then apologised and kinda realised what they said. I was thinking thou- when feeling like this they urge you to get help and talk to someone about it but when you do its like they dont belive you cause you asked for help! You just cant win in my opinion.
Anyway please dont try do it- it aint pretty
Take care

Yes, many times, but I would never recommend it to anyone else. It is the ultimate personal decision which leaves friends & family grief stricken & with more questions than answers.
Also, if you do it wrong, you could wind up a vegetable, on a respirator or in a wheelchair. I don't know about you, but that would make me even more depressed & unable to do anything about it.
Don't do it. Get help if you are feeling that bad. Talk to someone. Anything but that.

I have tried to commit suicide twice and (of course) failed both times. It's not worth it.

I have a hard time believing people that claim they've never at least thought about it. Ideation and attempts are sad, but very common.

Yes, considering it right now, as a matter of fact. But it's not something to be taken lightly, it's a huge step and you can never undo it.
